I haven't been on in forever and i feel bad, ive just been really busy with school, namely honors physics, and rehearsals for my school musical are starting up.

Currently im obsessed with the shoes in the marc by marc jacobs spring 2009 collection, and i really really want a pair but i think ill just have to see if uo comes out with a similair style this spring.

they're so unique! ah, im in love.

on the mend

After being sick for like 3 weeks I am finally getting better! yay! Just in time for musical auditions too. So today i felt really productive, all in one day i beat guitar hero on easy mode, wrote a paper for physics, sang in my church choir, and taught myself fur elise on the piano which i weirdly never learned in my 8 years of piano lessons since its like the one song that everyone knows how to play.

Before Summer Ends

So far i think my blog is kind of lame because it doesn't really have a purpose, its just kind of like look what i bought yay, so i think i'm going to like include more about my life and more interesting things. ok? lol. starting with my goals list. usually i do a summer goals list but i forgot so here it is. by the way "Before Summer Ends" is the name of an awesome band that now calls theirselves the hudson branch. the've played at the theatre camp i go to every year. i thought their old name was quite fitting for this post.
Summer/School Year Goals
1. Get my weight down from 109 to 105
2. Eat special K for breakfast and lunch, then have a normal dinner
3. Work out EVERY DAY
4. Tan every other day
5. Go swimming at least once
6. Read three books before school starts.
7. I will not sweat the little things
8. I will try not to judge others
9. Buy a pair of shoes every time I go shopping
10. Save my money for something I really love (tory burch flats or equestrian boots)
11. Go shopping with Matt, Stacy, Anne, Becca, Alex, and Ellen
12. DIY pictures for my room
13. Buy a big print for over my bookshelf
14. Start a Pilates class
15. Drink 8 glasses of water a day or whatever it is that you're supposed to drink

Grade A Creeper Cab Drivers

So today me and a few of my best friends went downtown to celebrate my birthday and my friend gave me a pin that said birthday girl so the guy at jimmy johns gave me free chips and winked at me tee hee. lol. we went shopping and i found a lilly pulitzer sweater for only 40 when it was orriginally 150 and kate spade satin flats for only 50 when they were orriginally 290! it was an awesome day! i also found a vest at urban outfitters and a really cool necklace and some cloth yellow mary janes. annd i found a dress to wear to my best friends formal sweet sixteen party next weekend. i will post pictures soon i promise, i'm just lazy and it happens to be the time when girls who have to wake up early to sing in church tomorrow should be in bed.
any way, the creeper cab driver had his arm like on top of my seat when we were driving and i was just like looking out the window when anne texts me and says why does the cab driver have his arm around you? when i had no idea what was happening in the first place. so that was our creepy story of the day.
for my birthday from my wonderful friends i got this really cute navy blue top and a hellogoodbye tshirt (yay! i love them and i've always wanted a tshirt from my favorite band!) and a panda necklace because pandas are my favorite animal and a framed picture of me and my friend.

In Italia!

Heyyy! im back! i'm so glad to be home, i missed all of my friends and my pets and the food! i am so sick of italian food, i had pasta for like every single lunch and dinner, except for when we were in milan and we were so sick of italian food so we went out for chinese twice lol. i missed salads. their salads there do not compare to the salads we have here! i know that they're more healty though because the dressing is always oil and balsamic vinigar, much healthier than the thick creamy dressings we use here which basically cancel out the good you are doing with the salad like ceasar and ranch. ceasar salad is my favorite food in the whole world though! i guess you don't go there to eat the foods you have already tried though, its to experience the culture and the different foods. but after three weeks i really missed salad.

ok i'm done with my food rant now. before i get into italy here's what i wore today.

ok pretty boring and basic, white shirt from some store in new york, old navy flip flops and navy and white striped shorts from american eagle that remind anne of train conductors. but white button ups are my new favorite thing. white is my favorite color to wear, in stores its like what catches my eye and i find i usually end up buying mostly white tops. anyway, you can do so much with them and thats why i love them!

i'll post more on italy later but my favorite cities were rome and florence. milan was cool because of the shopping, (i bought habitual jeans and jimmy choos and a little prada purse. lame that two of the things i bought are from other countries but the jeans were 20 euros when they were orriginally around 200 and the shoes were 145 when they were orriginally 300. soo you pretty much have to buy them when they're that cheap. and my purse was only 100! lol its like this little orange thing i can't imagine anyone else buying. i'll probably use it for like dances and dinners because its too small for an every day purse.) and venice was cool because of the water (lol) but florence was just clean and breathtaking everywhere i went, and i was so in awe at rome. i mean its ROME. but, i think the always having running water thing is wasteful ;). plus i don't think they recycle in italy. i didn't see like a single recycling bin or truck. so i don't think you'd like it so much alex lol. but other than that it was amazing and since it was the first city i went to it seemed like so cool because i had never seen anything like it.

We're getting our house painted. yay? the only thing bad about it is that in my bathroom i can hear men talking outside the window. which is creepy if you wake up early and forget that the house is getting painted ahaha.

anyway, i had a brief spurt of shopping today. my mom and i ran to tj max just because we wanted to after she picked me up from my volunteer work at vacation bible school. (i'm such a saint. oh yeah) i help out with crafts with the kids. they're pretty crazy but its fun.

Its my friends birthday today, woo!
Annd 7 days til mine!
So today i'm going to hang out with her and some other people for a couple hours and then i'm going shopping, so it'll be a good day.
The place we're going shopping has NONE of my favorite stores but its shopping, which is my favorite thing, so whatever. There is an Ambercrombie and Fitch and a Hollister and American Eagle and Pac sun and the gap and old navy and express and DSW and aeropostale, but i doubt we'll go in there. I'm looking for some high wasted black shorts, a big floppy sun hat, boardshorts because i hate my butt and legs, and some cute flirty tank tops for when i go to italy, to tuck into the shorts. annd i also want to invest in a good pair of red heels. but we'll see. hmm any advice where to find high wasted black shorts at those stores? i think express might but i want cheap ones in case they don't last, as far as fashion goes, for long. Sigh. i wish we were going to the big mall but its too far. ugh.

Soo my week so far has consisted of not 1, not 2, but 3 doctors appointments. Gag me. At least i've been able to squeeze some get togethers with my friends in there. Too bad i'm not having my birthday party this month when things are good with everyone.

Which brings us to the birthday countdown! 9 days to go people!

Found some tortishell ray ban wayfarers in my dad's desk! I was super happy :))).

Yesterday was really really hot. I wore something cute but i didn't take pictures, oh well.
My friend came over and we walked around the neighborhood for a really long time and just talked. Then i went out to dinner with my parents. So far, summer is LAME. Hopefully it'll get better and i'll have more of a social life haha.
Today i'm wearing sweats, its just one of those days.

Sundress on a Rainy Day

So today was really icky at first but i wore a sundress to brighten things up. Except when i went grocery shopping it was really hott and my outfit was way to warm.
What did i buy at the grocery store? I got a blush stick because my favorite bare minerals powder blush isn't really very easy to apply on buses and in cars. I also got some oil blotting sheets (horray!) and some eyeliner. And a people stylewatch magazing haha.
